The Maui Farm provides transitional housing and life skills training to local women and their children who have recently overcome significant life challenges including domestic violence, substance abuse and homelessness. During the COVID-19 pandemic, these already vulnerable families are experiencing significant loss of income, stability, and social routines that provide structure to their daily lives – such as going to work or sending children to school. The Maui Farm is able to support families through the pandemic by providing affordable, safe housing, employment opportunities, individualized care coordination and parenting support including distance learning assistance and childcare.
When you donate to a participating charity like The Maui Farm through our Aloha for Hawaii Charities campaign now through January 20, 2021 (4 pm HST), that charity will receive 100% of your donation plus a bonus boost from a funding pool generated by Friends of Hawaii Charities from the 2021 Sony Open in Hawaii.
