First Hawaiian Bank

A sponsor from the start, First Hawaiian Bank is like family to the Sony Open in Hawaii and Friends of Hawaii Charities, championing our bid to raise $1.2 million for local charities with support from charity partner The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. First Hawaiian Bank has sponsored the tournament for the last 45 years and over the last 23 years since the start of the Sony Open in Hawaii in 1999.

"We're so proud to be part of the experience here with Sony for the last 23 years. They've been such a contributor to the community and together we're helping Friends of Hawaii Charities do so much during a time of huge need," said Bob Harrison, chairman, president and CEO of First Hawaiian Bank. "We raise a lot of money for the community.  It's one of the very few pro sports that are in Hawaii and we've been lucky to keep it all these years. And this year, more than any other, the community needs everything we can help them with and I know that it will go to good causes and to people that really need it this year."
