Directions from Waikiki to Waialae Country Club:

  • Stay on Kalakaua Avenue towards Diamond Head Road
  • Turn left on Poni Moi Road
  • Turn right on Diamond Head Road
  • Keep on Diamond Head Road which will merge to Kahala Avenue
  • Waialae Country Club will be on the left

Please note. There is no public parking at Waialae Country Club.

 


 

Public Parking

Free spectator parking is available Thursday, January 11 – Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Kahala Community Park.  There is no public parking available Monday - Wednesday.  Tournament attendees are also encouraged to use public transportation, ride-sharing, carpool, or park in nearby streets while adhering to the street signage and no parking zones.

Free shuttle bus service from Kahala Community Park (the corner of Pueo Street and Moa Street) to the corner of Kealaolu and Kahala Avenues.  The designated drop-off location for disabled or handicapped spectators is at the Pro Shop parking lot adjacent to the main entrance.

 

 


 

Waikiki Shuttle to Sony Open in Hawaii

1) Take the Waikiki Trolley Blue Line Shuttle and hop off at Triangle Park (one-way $7 / round-trip $10). 

The Waikiki Trolley Blue Line Shuttle stops are:

  • Waikiki Shopping Plaza
  • Duke Kahanamoku Statue
  • Honolulu Zoo/Waikiki Beach
  • Waikiki Aquarium
  • Triangle Park/Fort Ruger Park (Get off here to get to the Sony Open in Hawaii)
  • Diamond Head Market & Grill
  • Rainbow Drive-In
  • Waikiki Shopping Plaza

2) Next, at Triangle Park, hop on the complimentary tournament shuttle to the golf course which will drop off at the corner of Kahala Avenue and Kealaolu Avenue.  Walk a few minutes to Gate 1 (Main Gate) on Kahala Avenue or walk a little further to Gate 2 located on Kealaolu Avenue.

 

Return to Waikiki

1) Take the complimentary tournament shuttle from the corner of Kahala Avenue and Kealaolu Avenue which will take you to Triangle Park.  From Triangle Park, take the Waikiki Trolley Blue Line Shuttle.  Please give yourself enough time to return to Triangle Park to get hop on the Waikiki Trolley.  The last departure time from Triangle Park to Waikiki is 6:00 pm.

Bike Valet

Free Bike Valet through Hawaii Bicycling League. Due to the recent heavy rains, the bike valet has been moved from Waialae Beach Park to a new location.  Please valet your bicycle at 4997 Kahala Avenue on the grassy knoll before the main entrance.  Sony Electronic will donate $10 to Hawaii Bicycling League for every bicycle using the complimentary bike valet service when traveling to the Sony Open in Hawaii.
